Very peaceful location to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Also, a great location to base ourselves for the planned trips we had planned. David was very welcoming, when we picked up the keys abd the location was better than rhe pictures. The accommodation was homely and had all the required utilities for our stay. From the coffee, tea, biscuits, butter and jam to the comfortable bed and seating area, was so comforting. The added feature of the hot tub, looking at the idyllic view made this a perfect place. We crammed in so much in our 3 night stay, there's plenty to see. We would recommend this place.

Lovely property run by a lovely couple. Would definitely return. One thing to bear in mind is that there is no conventional oven. It does state that in description just that Id missed it. The lodge and surroundings were spotless. The only reason I dropped cleanliness by one was for the fact that the hot tub is not checked daily. A couple of times we asked for the water quality to be checked and it wasnt a problem its just that normally i would expect it to be checked daily.

Quiet , comfortable ,clean and secure accommodation . A fabulous setting not over looked by anything, just a few birds .nothing too much trouble for the owners . The jacuzzi on the veranda was kept topped up and was 38 deg . Separate towels and a mat were provided . An absolute gem .

We had a very enjoyable stay in a facility that was excellent in all respects with a panoramic view of natural beauty. The host David was available to us at all times, though he was never needed. Had the most relaxing stay in this wonderful lodge. We were made to feel so welcome by our brilliant hosts. Everything thing you need for a break from the real world. Fresh flowers and chocolates on arrival was such a lovely gesture. The lodge was spotless and everything you would need during your stay was there. The lodge is in a wonderful location with fantastic views and in easy reach of lovely places to visit. Its within a 10 minute walk of the well stocked Community shop and the Fleece Inn which serves good food. Will definitely return next year.

Made to feel welcome by David the owner from start of our stay, informing us on how to use all amenities including the hot tub nothing was too much trouble even had flowers on arrival and homemade soap a lovely touch the views from the lodge were amazing lovely private land with plenty of outdoor space there is a lovely local pub called the fleece inn approximately 10 minutes walk from accommodation well worth a visit on leaving accommodation was presented with a lovely bunch of flowers and some More home made soap. Really nice clean accommodation a nice quiet stay to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary would highly recommend.

The location and facilities and welcome to the cabin were brilliant . The owner met us at the gate and was so friendly . The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed . The hot tub was fantastic . We were given a little welcome present and he also brought us some freshly cut asparagus to take home ....such a kind friendly man ....
